So...just recently the Godawful Old Party sued President Obama for exercising Executive Orders too much.
That's asshat enough, of course...for two reasons. One, it's perfectly legal, and two, Obama hasn't done it nearly as often as those Right Wing Stalwarts that Boehner would love to cock gobble...
Obama Orders: 183
Bush 2 Orders: 291
Reagan Orders: 381
Not that we needed to see those numbers to see that Boehner is a complete and utter jackass, as are any other of you right wing fruit loops who whine about Obama's Executive Orders, but there they are anyway.
Next, in a startling display of douchebaggery, even for an asshat like Boehner, his office put out a press release today.
The press release notes that the Congress has been unable to do anything whatsoever about the problem of all the Central American kids turning themselves in at the border. The press release doesn't note that the Congress, thanks to Boehner, has mostly been unable to do anything at all over the past six years except attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act once a week and hold hearings about Benghazi and the IRS, also weekly.
The best part of today's press release is that Boehner and the rest of the asshats in the GOP leadership call on the President to...drum roll please...
Take action on his own, without the need for Congressional action, to alleviate the problem.
Sue him last week for too many Executive Orders (even though he has done far less than Dumbya or RayGuns), blame his inability to do a damn thing on Obama (when Boehner has proven he can't do a damn thing at all in Congress all of his own accord), and then demand that the President act unilaterally, without Congress, to address this problem.
Now I understand that these clowns are without shame and that they know they are full of schit, and that their voting base are the types of fools who not only eat this stuff up, or still vote GOP "For the Economy
", but to the "reality based" crowd this is both amusing and entertaining.

Statement by House GOP Leaders on Border Bill
July 31, 2014|
Speaker Boehner's Press Office
WASHINGTON, DC – House Republican leaders John Boehner (R-OH), Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Steve Scalise (R-LA), and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) today issued the following statement regarding H.R. 5230, the border supplemental legislation:
“This situation shows the intense concern within our conference – and among the American people – about the need to ensure the security of our borders and the president’s refusal to faithfully execute our laws. There are numerous steps the president can and should be taking right now, without the need for congressional action, to secure our borders and ensure these children are returned swiftly and safely to their countries. For the past month, the House has been engaged in intensive efforts to pass legislation that would compel the president to do his job and ensure it can be done as quickly and compassionately as possible. Through an inclusive process, a border bill was built by listening to members and the American people that has the support not just of a majority of the majority in the House, but most of the House Republican Conference. We will continue to work on solutions to the border crisis and other challenges facing our country.”
