Oh no! It's more important to protect the U.S. from the horrors of socialism and help the 1%ers become the 0.1%ers and those become the 0.01%ers, etc. Otherwise the U.S. won't achieve the 3rd world status the uber-conservatives are striving for.

Norway is a closed society so socialism works there. The US is an open society so socialism will only increase our debt as more emigrants take without paying into the system.

Also in Norway they hold their elective officials accountable while in the US we just keep reelecting the clowns no matter how incompetent they are handling the taxpayers money. For instance in Norway every elected official that had anything to do with Bertha would have been run out of office by now but noooo in Seattle, or at the federal level, we only care is they have a d or an r next to their name and don't give a crap how corrupt or incompetent they are.

And lastly in Norway if you are kicked out of office for wasting tax payer money you will not find another job but in the US you get a high paying job in the private sector. The more you screwed the tax payer the higher your wage.

Hitler sums up the average US voter nicely below.

I agree with most of what BB said, and while Hitler probably wasn't far off (most folks don't do a lot of thinking), we've reached a point in this country where no matter how much "thinking" we do, we have no hope of changing things with our votes alone. Our system of government is broken beyond repair. The eventual fix will involve pitchforks and torches, metaphorically speaking, and who knows how much longer it's going to take for the average citizen to figure that out?

As long as most Americans could be the one singing this song, we're not much of a threat to the status quo. Hopefully, we'll wake up before it's too late.
