If you guys and gals are like me. You have more tackle than you can use in a lifetime. Well I truly think it is a disease or a conspiracy by the tackle companies. How many times have you found that hot lure to have the tackle company stop making it, go out of business or have lure Jensen (aka Pure Fish) buy them out and shut them down.
My first reaction when I find a lure that catches fish is to now go buy as many as I can get my paws on so I won't run out. Well as time goes by you stop using those lures as much because you find a new favorite or the supply actually runs out.
Are the fish getting smarter so we need a different piece of tackle....Maybe we have helped them to evolve to the higher priced shiny ones.
What drives me to write this.... well I have a crate of spoons and spinners components that I just finished putting together. Do I use spoons and spinners alot....NO!! Do I always carry some so I can cover that special pocket to remove the doubt a fish wants to visit me......YES!! Well since I have literally a box I can't pick up..I need some help. There are still lures I don't have boxes full of Yet!! What is this desire I have to fill more boxes with stuff I will never use....
