Been to the book stor and found some really good books on fishing. has any one here read a book by Colin J. Kageyama called "What Fish See" ? It is a reall ygood book on how the colors change and what whe fish sees the author of the book is a doctor of optometry and a designer for Mepps/mister Twister and it says he is a Steelhead fanatic. A lot of great information in this book.

I have read "What Fish See" cover to cover several times. This is one of the most informative fishing books I've ever read and believe me, I have read a lot. This book is not easy to read and it will seem more like a college textbook than the average fishing book.

Kageyama, the author, also has designed a line of spinners for Mepps called "See Best" which have descriptions of what water conditions that each one works best in. These spinners work very well when matched to the conditions specified. I have sore-mouthed a lot of silvers on the gold plated blade with black tape and green dots. There are also a few steelies that wish they had not chomped the silver plate body and blade with pink tape and green dots.

Life is short....fish hard!!

If humor is in store, Pat McManus is the best. I almost wet myself reading his stuff. I may have mispelled his name though.
