I believe that there will be the same amount of daylight.

That pretty well sums it up.

relevant to time JG, unless you leave work an hour earlier

I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.

Losing an hour at the end of the day on Sunday lead to my and Rico getting to row the last couple miles of the Sol Duc in the pitch dark...at least we had a big box of coho for our efforts wink

We didn't even put the boat in the water until 11am...Rico showed up 30 minutes late which is the rough equivalent of being two days early for him smile

Fish on...

Todd

Todd, so you're saying the Rico isn't on either daylight savings nor standard time. He's on "Rico time." And he probably had a couple flashlights too, except that he left them at home.

No flashlights required... We were in my boat, and my trailer lights work ;-)

Fish on...

Funny, on Saturday night I was sitting at my buddies' place drinking whisky and we were lamenting DST. Someone was like "Hey the clock says midnight, but it is really only 11. We can drink for another hour!".

At 1 am (DST Midnight) we departed with the agreement to meet in my driveway at 6 (DST). There was some confusion on that end, and were on the water by 8. No first, second or third water for us, but we hammered them anyway.

I can't count the number of times DST has messed me up for both fishing and hunting. It really isn't important for coho fishing, but when you are trying to get your decoys out before first light it is really important.
