It was pure mud and running hard on Monday along with the Chehalis and other rivers down here. I would think it will be a few days at best. I will take another look today
(tuesday)

Blowing serious chunks this morning. We had quite a rain the other day.....more like a November storm. I'm more concerned about the lake up above. If it turned muddy then we're talking 2-3 weeks for it to flush itself out.
Just picture fishing in "summer low" water with 3 inches of visibility.......fun!

Steely,

No, those weren't my foot prints. I looked off the railroad bridge on Devonshire road. I assume you were at black creek? Again, I hope the lake didn't puke out!

Yeah, that river raised fast. I have a bookmark for river levels on the Nooch and saw how it spiked. I was stressing, my trailer with my Steelheader was sitting down on my Dad's property on the Nooch. I heard it's up, but slowly coming down. No rain supposedly for next few days so maybe we'll have some luck this weekend. I'll be heading down to see how far it came up and if it got onto my Dad's lot. I'll bring my plunking rods with some 5/6 ounces. Caught a damned nice steelie last year on near flood conditions. I'll have to take a stab and see. Good luck.......

I work up towards Grisdale and the nooch is coming back in shape. It usually only takes 3-5 days to be fishable after a pretty stiff rain.Should be good by thurs or fri.

Fished the past 2 days, high but color isn't too bad..........I'd be there Sat. and Sun., might be good.....

On the "honey do" list.....gone to CA, one less jet boat on the river.
