Does anyone know how the fishing is on the Clackamas river for springers. I am heading down there at the end of the month and was curiuos. Is there a lot of fish in the upper river. How has the fishing been this spring. Any info would be great. thank you. steve

With the exception of a very few days where a good push of springers came thru the lower end, the season has been below average. There should be both enough springers and summers in the mid & upper river stretches to be worthwhile. The river got more early moss than usual because so much sunshine this May. Good luck.- RT
