I learned on here a while back that the Skokomish was a floatable river for steelhead. I know that you can only keep kings up to the bridge, but what about C&R in the upper river is that legal or do the natives have a rule against it... Any info would be a big help...

Havn't fished the Skok much but I wouldn't think it would be legal to C&R kings above the bridge. Yes in some river I thin it is legal to C&R salmon but normally they either open it or close it. I don't know but if it is open for silvers or chums above the bridge then I wouldn't worry about it. just make sure they the kings get back in the water and nothing should be said but I think it might be closed to all salmon fishing above the bridge?

Ok, thanks. Teh rules say that we can keep kings below the bridge, but not above. Oh well.
