me and two buddies went this evening and i hooked 4 and landed one and my buddies each limited. we threw little baits of eggs like fingernail sized, and the meat of crawdad tails killed them also. no lead,just bait, hook, and swivel is enough weight. if you want to hook some steelhead come to the washougal river.

Thanks for the report Adam. The Washougal and Deschutes were the 2 rivers where I used to do most of my steelhead flyfishing years ago. I'm going to be getting back into that so this is a nice opportunity to visit some ol' steelie hunting grounds with some fish actually there again! Cool.

Is there alot of people there? Is it really crowded.

If it wasn't crowded, it probably is now! LOL
I was there this morning also. I hit it with a fly rod and also some jigs. I didnt get one bite. I fished the bowling alley as well as above the bridge (lower one). There are definitely fish in there, they just didn't like what I had to offer.
