Not quite full....  The Moon makes an easy target, but most people think you need a long exposure...most definitely not the case! Shot this hand-held with a older Nikon DSLR. 70-300mm Nikon lens. f/5.6, ISO 200 at 1/1250th of a second. (got no idea why the image won't show..it's posted correctly???)

this was my last shot, sh1tty ass point and shoot... getting a new Nikon DSLR soons, probably gonna go with the 3200 i think it is thats at 23.4 MP or whatnot... it was in March...

Thanks Dan. Think I figured it out...had to remove that last tag in the URL.
JTD...they always look good in pics, but get your nose too close to one of those and you'll get a good reminder of what sh!t smells like.
Evo: Those are nice shots with a P&S. Next time take the pic when the Moon is only half full..you'll get a lot better contrast in the craters.
The D3200 is a nice camera, but in all honesty you can buy a used D40 or D90 for a lot less, and it'll take just as good (if not better) images. MP don't mean squat so long as you've got 10MP or more. Unless you're blowing the pic up to a huge size (like 24x36) you'll never notice the difference in pic quality.

Those ARRRRRE moon shots ya varmint... You might want to adjust that there lens of yours for a little better PERspective.

The great late Sam Kinison had the same problem...he once said, "I love women, my record proves that. I bite it every fuking time. Each woman said that she was 'new love' and not like the others, so I take her home and once the door is closed, it's not the door to heaven, but the door to hell".
I finally got smart, been single since 2004, had some gals come and go since but never got paper involved again. Latest gal is on her way out, she moved in a little over a year ago and said she had no debt. Now she has 10 credit cards maxed and shut down and had to file bankruptcy. Oh, and in the last year, she put on 25 pounds of what she calls "relationship weight". Good times. She's packing as I type this.
