All of the Indy's will be forced to join a conference, sooner rather than later. There is talk of super mega conferences in the very near future (ACC & SEC; B1G & B12, Pac12 & Mountain West etc...).

Lastly and in general, ND can suck it. Hard.

Lots of talk that's all over the place. OU to SEC. Big12 and / or ACC disbanding and remaining conference teams going to B1G and SEC. Texas to the Pac12 (the horror). The new playoff system was a hit last year and its going to expand. If the Indy's want to play under the new system they are going to have to join or be left out.

That's definitely going to happen, I see like four conferences spread out geographically, with north, south, east, west, breaking up the divisions.

I really hope they get forced into joining a conference and I'm really happy Pinkel stepped up and said so.

Everyone left the Big 12 because they hated Texas. The Big 12 need to play a conference chamionship game regardless of how many teamd are in the conference. The NCAA should grant them a waiver.
That way we don't have to hear two teams cry about getting left out of the play-off like last year.

I'd hate to see Texas join the Pac 12, but I think it will happen sometime in the future. To much media $$$$ to be had.

Texas joining the Pac12 will be the worst decision ever for the conference. They flat out dirty pooled the old Big 8 and current Big 12, even after the old Big 8 resuced their sorry assses from the defunct SWC. What Texas wants, Texas gets. BIg12 Conference HQ in Dallas? Yep - you bet. The non-profit sharing Longhorn Network? No problem! One extra second put on the clock to save a pre-crowned championship? You got it!

I'm telling you here and now that the Pac12, all of its teams and all of its fans will rue the day Texas joins the conference. You don't need that dirty money, no matter how much they throw at you.

I know there are some fans of Texas on this board - but even you gotta admit the level of arrogance displayed on a daily basis is off the charts. I will not apologize to you for feeling this way. You can suck my Husker Corn Cob for all I care. After being treated like crap, my team left you high and dry for better pastures with LOTS more money and way better conference academics. OU is soon to do it to you too! Good - you deserve it. After our treatment in the Big12, you can bet we won't rescue your sorry asses from the soon to be defunk Big12 again. Annnnnddd...that's how I feel about Texas.

Two predictions ,the Cougars will finally accept that air raid sucks after another losing season. The Huskies will trip on their Kuntlips again.

All I have to say is that I fully support any bashing of Notre Dame, ever and always...and that it's awesome that Texas has continued to be full of entitled douchebags when they are barely an average team in their conference.
