Just thought I would throw it out there. Things I bumped into so far are interesting. Defender is built in and other anti viruses, well not all are compatible yet. Norton, MV, nope but I think AVG is. Comcast and MS appear to have some differences around e mail. With the upgrade from 7 or 8.1 to 10 10 dumps things it does not care for. Pass words can get to be a bear.
I came through sorta OK but had to get help when a 10 update altered a setting way inside 10 so had to C&P the correction in and reset. Bottom line user beware as you play hell getting support as MS is over whelmed AND third parties evidently did not get solid education on it so they are about as lost as you will be.
It appears that waiting a bit for the dust to settle if your mid to lower level in computer skills. Anyone else taken a shot at it?

I downloaded it and then went back to 7. didn't like it. seems made for smart phones to me

7 is a remake of Vista, 8 was kinda a new idea that they ran with, 8.1 is the touch screen version... 10 is bringing back the 7 and previous versions with the start/task bar and what not that isnt on 8 or 8.1... all windows phones now are running 8.1, for obvious reasons... they can upgrade to 10 tho, but not for a while after the PC's get it from what ive heard....
im sticking with 7, 8 sucks, 8.1 sucks even more, and i dont feel like screwing with things that they havent gotten the bugs worked out of yet...
if you want a fun reliable OS to mess with, i suggest Ubuntu or Kali, both Linux platforms, but can get tricky installing things because its nowhere near what you are used to with Windows, you need to know a little about computers to do so...
7 and my phone work fine for me....

Chrome and Firefox are browsers bud...
Windows, OSx (and every other one), Linux, ect are all Operating Sytems...
you use Chrome and FF to browse the internet, you use Windows to turn the computer on to browse the internet...
i have a feeling you already know this....

Windows 10 is fine.....if you have to use Windows.
Been using it for a while and I'm very curious to hear the reviews from all the people who whined about getting that stupid Start Menu back. Honestly don't know if it's going to be well received or not.
The Start menu thing is back in Win10....but you still have to use the search features of the OS to navigate.
Most modern OS's are tied in to mobile platforms as that is the current and seemingly future trend in IT. Way more people browse the internet via their smart phones over a desktop PC or laptop these days.
Why do you need a computer when 99.99999% of everyone out there just uses it for Facebook, Instagram, or surfing for porn? Most people never have or never will actually use a computer to compute anything real.
After working on Win10 and now seeing the final release, I can and will still happily say............
Get a Mac!
