If you don't like abortions, don't get one. I don't plan on it, but I may not appreciate being forced to pay for other people to have them. Probably the lamest response to this argument that I see posted time and again. Lots of people don't like paying for implements of war. They don't like paying for a $700 hammer. They don't like paying for anything that .GOV uses their money for. .GOV wastes a lot of our money. Suck it up buttercup. Maybe you should just not pay taxes in protest. See how that works out for you. Moving to another country could solve that, or maybe you could form your own territory and secede from the nation. I do understand that some people find it repugnant. That is certainly your right to have an opinion on that. I have no need to control what another person does with their body or property, as long as it does not directly impact me. I would expect that somebody would extend the same courtesy to me. Here is the thing. This repugnant action was ruled legal by the US Supreme Court. You are not going to change this unless: 1.The US Supreme Court reverses a decision on an earlier case by making a contradictory decision on a current case. 2.Congress and the States can overturn a decision by amending the Constitution. Neither are likely scenarios. You want to know why the Republican Party has been such a failure in the past few elections? They cling to stupid arguments that they cannot change, like abortion. They also send the most far right a-holes to the front of the line, leaving the bulk of the voters in the middle alienated. You want to see them lose, keep this up. Don't change a thing. So tired of this same tired and asinine argument. Why don't you toss in religion as well. Might work this time. Rant over. Reposting this post is the reason why it is unfortunate that this forum doesn't have a "like" or "agree" button. Gold Digger, We would probably agree on a great many things, but although there is wide agreement on values of right and wrong, they are still relative and not universal, regardless of what you believe. Abortion is on that list of relative values. Just because it is wrong to you doesn't make it wrong universally. If you understand human psychology at all, you already know that sex is as much about sport and hobby as it is about procreation. You can want it not to be, but that won't make it so, but an intelligent guy like you most likely already knew that. Sg

Reposting this post is the reason why it is unfortunate that this forum doesn't have a "like" or "agree" button.
So you like posts that are hyperbolic fabrications, based on faulty assumptions. Why am I not surprised? I'll tell you why, because that is the way the liberal mind works, their beliefs prove it.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

Two things:
#1: This subject matter is socially unsolvable. You cannot make two sides of the same coin face the same direction in the same space & time. Sides are already chosen. Minds are already made up. This entire thread is cannon fodder and pointless, except to fill the role of said cannon fodder. Ya'll are wasting key strokes on this.
#2. I had a burrito for lunch today.
Like my earlier vid implies, "I'm here for the gang bang". And that's exactly what this thread is. It's fun and all to partake, but everyone is just going to go away all sticky, carpet burned & rashed up.
Now, with that said.....who wants a mustache ride?

Both the egg (ovum) and the sperm are alive, but unjoined neither one are able to survive more than a few days, however joined they become a human blastocyst and it possesses the potential to grow into an adult. One medical lexicon defines baby as, "An infant; a newborn child. Anti abortionists often prefer to use the term "Human life". Consider; The National Conference of State Legislatures states that "Currently, at least 38 states have fetal homicide laws. The states include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. At least 23 states have fetal homicide laws that apply to the earliest stages of pregnancy ("any state of gestation," "conception," "fertilization" or "post-fertilization"); these are indicated below with an asterisk (*). The page can be found here. http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/fetal-homicide-state-laws.aspxI supplied the above only as food for thought----- for those who care to.

Again, this subject is unsolvable.
When does life begin?
If there was a clear cut answer to that question, this wouldn't be as difficult to deal with. It's all relative and its all personal to one's belief and moral system.
To me and this is just me, "life" begins at the "fetal viability" stage or that point at which a fetus can live on its own with a better than 50 / 50 shot at survival. Most doctors pin this at or around 25 weeks. At 25 weeks, there is better than a 50 / 50 chance it will survive (in general and statistically speaking; every case is different). There are no National standards on "fetal viability" dates. That's left up to the States to decide. Some States are at 20 weeks, some are at 28 weeks. As with cancer or AIDS, these dates will change as modern science and health care improves.
BTW - I'm pro "its not my place to decide what is best for someone else". I'm not pro-choice and I'm not pro-life. I'd rather abortions never had to occur in a civilized society, but I understand that sometimes they do. Every circumstance is different and I can only decide what's best for me at every turn in the road of life. Don't tell me what to do and I won't tell you what to do. Extremists on both sides like to tell others what to do and its us folks in the middle that are getting awfully tired of it.

In addition to all their normal male hormones, horny creatures that they are, if men had the capacity to become pregnant and carry babies to term, abortion would be the rule, not the exception. Did that come from Mother Jones or Progress Now? I've heard it bounced around the interwebz a lot. I don't know that I heard it previously, but maybeso. It's a pretty easy conclusion to come to. Most of the people who want to decide if women can have abortions or not are men, which is kinda' weird.

You are all a bunch of after birth eatin baby rapers.
Women have many other holes to use that don't end in pregnancy.
A law should be passed that requires use of only these holes when the woman does not want to become pregnant.
A health inspector should be dispatched to observe, inspect, and approve the use of these holes only.
A document should be filed to record the frequency and use.
A tax should be imposed to pay for the entire thang.
A hard on has no conscience.
