Kearse did what he thought he needed to to make sure he was getting his best deal. Looks to me like both he and the Seahawks felt they were getting a good deal, so why make foolish comments about making up your mind? He said he'd leave the Hawks to get a better deal, and found out the Hawks were offering his best deal. What the f'n problem with that?

Pretty simple economics with Kearse: He and his agent figured he was a #2 WR and should be paid #2 money. He explores the market and discovers that the market is willing to pay #3 or #4 WR money. So he returns to the Hawks who sweetened their deal a little and now both sides appear happy.

Not too difficult to figure out. Most players/agents shoot for the moon as players only get a couple shots at big money. But the league isn't spending big on WRs, RBs, and OL. QB's and Defense is where the cash is at right now.

In all honesty, I believe Redhook has been a team player his whole life. Don't want to speak for him but he is talking about the balance of money and keeping a team nucleus together. Paychecks come weekly/monthly......winning is for life
