I'm guessing Carly's rockin' the full bush. Could you imagine waxing or shaving those old meat curtains? Guess what....now you just did. I'm not a fan of banning, but you're making me change my mind. :>)

It's an important question that's speaks to her keeping up with the times. If she is sporting a full clam shawl She is living in the 70's. You know Hillary has a fully forested swamp That looks like someone dug a trench through the middle of it. LMAO

Seeing all those GOP candidates at their podiums for two debates reminded me of times at the race track when there were so many horses entered in a race that they had to bring in a supplemental starting gate.
The difference between those two scenarios is... at the race track, you knew there was a winner present among the contenders.

My first job was at Long acres, let me tell you that place was as corrupt as politics. My older Cousin worked in the turf club as a waiter and knew all of the trainers and the back side workers.
He told me the next day he was going to be getting a hot tip from a very well known trainer that he knew. Came to work the next day and the track was sloppy as heck. My Cousin told me to bet on "Andy's hit man" in the first race. The horse went off at 25-1 odds so I put 20 dollars to win on it, I then wheeled every horse in the second race to win the daily double.
Coming around the final turn the horse was in last place, then it started taking off like a rocket and Won the race! I won around 520.00 for the 20.00 win bet. Now I'm waiting to see what Horse wins the second race....hoping for another long shot because the DD would pay more. The Horse that won was around 9-10 odds and I ended up winning around 600.00 more for the daily double. That's a lot of money for a 16 year old.
I have lots of first hand knowledge of crooked sheet going on there. There was a reason that other tracks around the country would not include Long Acres for off track betting. Even though LA held two world record times for 6 and 6 1/2 furlongs.

Funny, I thought Todd started this thread to discuss the GOP debate, not Longacres and beaver hair dos.
Two things struck me most. Several candidates swear that Trump has no chance at the nomination. So even if he wins all the polls, and that translates into winning all the primaries, the fix is in at the GOP, and the Party will nominate the establishment Republican of its choice.
Second, the candidates paid short shrift to the fact that the 3 non-establishment candidates, Trump, Carson, and Fiorina poll higher than all the others combined. I expected the establishment candidates to expend some effort explaining why I should give any of them the time of day when the electorate is clearly expressing the feeling that every one of the establishment candidates is an untrustworthy sack of sh!t.
Instead they devote the whole debate telling me that everything they've done that contributed to getting us in the sorry state we're in is the reason why they, and they alone, are the key to getting the US out of the current mess. Holy F! Do they even hear themselves?
That said, I do think that Carson and Fiorina (sp) made the most intelligent remarks (excluding all remarks regarding abortion, Planned Parenthood, gay marriage, and social issues in general of course, because on those they were all hopelessly clusterfvcking each other), and Pataki, Rubio, and even Jeb Bush made a few intelligent comments. However I think Jeb harms himself by not distancing himself completely from his whackadoodle brother's Iraq mis-adventure.
All in all it was a scuzzy experience, and I had to shower afterward. I should probably send a check to Bernie Sanders campaign.

Probably. I like when Jeb said "My brother kept us safe!"...considering how often all the chickenhawks love to say "Remember 9/11!", they somehow seem to forget who was asleep at the helm while several thousand Americans were killed on American soil. Fish on... Todd

I should probably send a check to Bernie Sanders campaign. Salmo, if your candidate of choice is the Berns, you won't have to send him a check. It'll be taken from you after the fact for the good of all people. A devote Socialist (or Evangelical ie. the Huckster) is never going to run this country and we have to stop paying mind to the far ends of the spectrum if we ever hope to get anywhere. That's just my $0.02 worth. As with music, its all personal choice.

Bernie Sanders is closer to the center than any one of the GOP Clowns you saw on stage last night.
He's also the only actual populist...the rest are all corporatists of some sort.
Fish on...

Maybe and that's why I'm an independent. The GOP non-politicians seem to be decently centralized when compared to the likes of Huck and the other whackadoodles. Remember, Trump's been accused of being a Dem in sheep's clothing by both sides (and no I'm not for Trump, just making a point).
All I know is we are not going to fix this mess by electing politicians that only speak to 10% of the population.

I sat out the debate and watched the Giants beat the Reds instead.
That was a smart move. Don't worry...Hannity will tell you who to vote for come primary time. Fish on... Todd

The money and base is just now starting to blossom on Trump. Like Salmo G, I think people underestimate the establishment. Attack ads, big money, and clumsy media influence (here is a great example: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2015/09/12/iowa-gop-women-trump/72183584/ )are about to prove Trump's next hurdles. Cosby didn't watch because he was too busy pasting his "I'm Obsessed with Hillary!" bumper stickers on his "friends'" (a.k.a. unsuspecting WalMart shoppers') cars. If Joe runs, I'd say that Hillary is in trouble and he knows it. If Joe just promised an extended Obama, he'd easily win. I still think Hillary comes out the winner, particularly against any on the GOP clown team. Rand should have gone full anti-establishment and straight talk last night but he needed to dumb it down and say it louder for the average GOPer. He started to point out the blatant hypocrisy in the party. Things like always talking about "state rights" and "small govt" yet always doing it selectively, such as with drug laws. The overwhelming thing that stood out was the CONTINUED fear-based pandering of nearly all the GOP candidates. The fight over who can spend more money on national defense and make a bigger fist is sickening, along with the deepthroat competition over Israel. Only some of them will even acknowledge their role in helping endorse a lot of what has exacerbated our problems. I think most of them actually acknowledged global climate change last night but plan on thinking much about it.
