Searching for an electric Fathom-Master for my little Campion, as have grown weary of not being able to get the wire up before the fish is to the boat. Got one gathering dust? Willing to pay fair market value.

I'm on Orcas, but can travel weekends within reason or pay for shipping.

Thanks--

Not exactly what you asked about, but I have a buddy with two Scotty 1101s for sale...happy to put him in touch with you if you'd like.

Fish on...

Thanks, Todd--holding out for Penns at this point, so I don't have to swap my bases. If I don't have any luck this winter, I'll probably mount Scottys, as they're pretty easy to find….

I made aluminum adaptor plates so that I could mt. Scottys on Penn bases. It wasn't to difficult, but of course just buying Penns might be easier.

Thanks, Doug Kelly--went to look at the Mercer post and saw a recent post in Anacortes and have a meet tentatively set for Saturday morning…fingers crossed! Not like the ol' knuckle-busters haven't served me well…

Hey fishkisser, you didn't buy that boat from a guy around thrashers corner in Bothell did you?

Golly, DK, dude was even nice enough to go to the DMV with me, if I remember right. A stand-up guy. About buried me in down riggers, life jackets, canvas, crab pots…made buying a boat like a trip to the candy store. Sooner or later will have to replace that Merc, but it's still pushing strong…

Be well--

Golly, DK, why do you ask? That set-up look familiar?

Hm…maybe there weren't crab pots. I don't remember. All I remember shortly thereafter was cod. Lots and lots of cod…

…alas, that the boat were ever as pretty as the day I bought it!

(Apologies if this isn't what you came here for…be well--)

Hope that you are aware that Penn no longer supports their downriggers. Long story short parts are not available to include the electronic innards so any failure will involve trying to scavenge for a replacement.

Couple of years ago tried taking one of mine into John's Sporting Goods in Everett which had been a warranty facility and they wouldn't even look at it. Sad as I really like them but bit the bullet and replaced with Scotties keeping my one functional Penn for when one of my brother's Penns dies on him.

Thanks for the advice Larry B.--am indeed jumping into this with both eyes open. Pretty sure my next boat will have Scottys as soon as I can save up enough to buy it--which will take 2.4 lifetimes, I suspect…lol.
