I'm in need of tackle! As we all are. I have every type of corkie & spin/glow there is. I really like Arrow fly's. Something of this nature, whats out there? Is there some web address I can go to and view rig ups of this sort? I hate driving all over, traffic is bad ALL THE TIME. Any idea would be helpful. Jayson Bleakley

Places I've shopped for drift gear c/o the Internet recently:

Ted's: If you don't know exactly what you're looking for, I'd call them first (425-743-9505)to discuss what your options are. Mention Bob's Board -- they're readers and also sell to Bob in volume. The folks I've been in touch with are Mike, Bryan and Kent. Each is very helpful. Then either fax (lost number!) or email them (they will give you their private email address -- I don't want to hand out other people's email handles) your confirmation and credit card details. They shipped my order the next day.

2. A Vancouver tackle shop Berry Brothers (www.berrysbait.com) is slowly but surely putting their large catalog on line for Internet ordering. In the meantime, you can download and print their catalog and then fax (273-5980) or call (604-273-5901) your order in. I've dealt with them a lot, and the service there, too, is very good.

3. Luhr Jensen has plenty of gear for sale via catalog and the Internet, but it's spendy as they charge full retail to avoid undercutting their own distributors. www.luhr-jensen.com. The place to go for that hard-to-find Hotshot or Kwikfish color combination. T: 1-800-535-1711.

Hope this helps

Thanks! Anymore help from someone would be nice. I did find steelhead solutions. A person from this web page owns it. I seen a web address and clicked it, there it was! Looks o.k, but the pictures on there don't appear. I have yet to catch any steelhead this year, so its nice to look at them. Thats why I'm asking for help. I think its time to change baits. Thanks again Jayson Bleakley.

Outdoor Emporium, in seattle, is a good place, and less expensive than ted's.

If you are looking for tackle, tips, and suggestions, I will second "Snags" post. Great luck for me with the guys at Teds and Berry's. If you see Kent at Ted's, tell him that Hawk says "he's a freak", and I still have the melon of that Mongoloid steelie in my freezer. Good luck
