Time to shoot back.
Any recommendations for a relatively small weapon?
Best place to buy?
City of Bellevue CWP application fee is $50.75 . I was a bit surprised by that.

Go to your local Sheriff's office instead.

+1 for the Ruger LCR (.380). Also the Springfield XD-S.

Glock 26 if your strictly looking for CC purposes.

CCP from the King County Sheriff is still $50.75

.380 would be the LCP

You're right on the LCP - my mix up. I don't personally own one, but several buddies do and they love em'. I've never felt the need to carry outside of the "field" and don't have a CCP. But in light of recent events, I'm starting to come around to the idea. $50 bucks is cheap insurance.

Not a bad choice.

Very true, Mr. Keyboard Commando! shoot rofl

In all seriousness if you are purchasing a firearm based on current events and have a premonition that you might actually use your firearm to defend yourself or others, id highly recommend a training coarse. Standing at the range or gravel pit and shredding a paper target is great, but when it comes to live fire and mass chaos, most guys [Bleeeeep!] their pants and/or kill half the people around them before neutralizing threat...

As a CWP holder, I should be more disciplined.
But alas, I am not.

If you're going to carry, don't carry your favorite, steel-framed hand cannon.
Carry something disposable, like a Glock.
It might have to get confiscated as evidence.
