this weekend i am going fishing on the lower part of the river and i was wondering when the best time of the day is to fish for kings. what kind of bait should i use and and kind of lures? do scents also work.

Fish the low tide and bring BIG gobs of eggs. Still early, try the 2nd week of september for peak fishing. Get there early because the whole crew is there at 3am low tide or not to stake out fishing turf. At high slack cast spinners or spoons. Leave a report for us would you please.

Fished the Samish this morning on high tide, seen one fish in 3 hours of fishing. I didn't have one bite, still early. Eggs at low tide, spoons and spinners at high. Good luck and lets here how you do this weekend. Thanks.

BK did you fish opening day at Reiter. I was just wondering. I was fishing next to a young man that was name BK. I was the one with the noodle rod and fishing with spinners.

Ya that was me at reiter opening day. I refuse to use bobbers if you didn't notice! Ended up with 3 landed 5 hooked. What do you look like? I fish up there so much all the day blend together.

I was fishing next to you in the afternoon with that 13 foot pole and a spinner,tall with blond hair, no gray well both. I was watching mostly. Casting once in awhile between the barge of bobbers. I was impressed with your drifting skills and the reel you were using. I had one of my fish on your stringer. Not a big deal but was wondering if that was you, maybe see you on the river again. Thanks swami, now I know who you are. Its always nice to meet someone else from the board. I do remember you putting a fish on the stringer. Plan on seeing alot of me on the samish unless I'm on the carbon or nisqually. In october I pretty much live in forks. If they dont net the [Bleeeeep!] out of them the samish should be real good.
