Fished the Samish on Fri and didn't see a fish. Got a lil rain Fri nite and Sat morn saw two or three fish, one was 25-30lb.

Only saw one fish caught and that angler was practicing catch-n-release--the long distance variety.

Fishin will probably be pretty slo till the 25th or so as haven't heard any reports bout alotta fish in the bay.

Unconfirmed report that the indians are nettin m-th or t-th? Might help to check nettin schedules before goin there to fish (altho it's been my experience that they don't always follow those scheds).

Went back to the Samish this morn. There were a fair no. of fish, saw 12-14 on the bank. I lost one jack while people to the left of me and people to the right of me were catchin fish.

There was a good bite @first lite (so I'm told) and another good bite from 7:00-7:45.

Should improve daily, especially with any significant amount of rain.

Remove the Elwa dam(n)s now!

i fished the samish today and didn't catch anything. saw a guy catch a cuttthroat. i arrived there at 10:00 and 2 salmon were caught before i arrived. i heard that 8 salmon were caught around 5:00 on saturday. they were caught at the bend before edison. used sandshrimp and eggs. the 2 salmon on sunday morning were caught at high tide. i saw about ten fish today that were rolling.

Alright! Fish in the Ditch! Get' Em

Ditch is the right word for it. I went there today around 6am-12pm. Seen about 15 fish go by. Some were a little confused "going the wrong way!" Its still a little too soon give it at lease a week. Simple fishing just eggs nothing else no fish today.
