Tines look like about .33 caliber.

So what you do is tie on some dental floss securely to the tines.
I'd use a nail knot. (tine knot...bwahahaha.....shhhhhh....dammit)
Pull the pitchfork out while dragging the dental floss through the wound channels,ignoring the screaming, wailing and sobbing.
Now tie to the dental floss some .30 caliber sections of bore snake that are slathered in anti-bacterial ointment.
Now pull those through ignoring the second round of screaming, wailing and sobbing.

Patch 'im up and send him on his way.
