Gave up T.V for about three years, started back up about 6 mos or so. It's amazing how many more crazy reality shows are on now. The phoniest is this family in Alaska that howl like wolves and is a good example that incest is not a good thing. I've seen maybe 6 shows, and it gets dumber by the show. I read somewhere that the family actually lives in Hoonah and only goes to the woods to shoot footage. One of those kids was busted for buying meth in town.The landlord of the house said they left the place a mess with garbage all over the place and damages. It's like a bad accident, I have to peek time to time.  Who else has seen this show?

As of 2015, forty eight-ish "reality" TV shows are being filmed in and around Alaska. Being a relatively small state with regard to population, I happen to know quite a few people who have worked both behind the scenes and in front of the camera on one or more of these projects and I've narrowly avoided the same fate myself. I can say with confidence, it's all bullshite and it's all bad for you.
Don't believe anything you see on TV. None of it resembles reality.

I've caught a few moments of the Bush people show....a classic is one of the sons chasing boot chums in a spawning creek and punching the fish in the head to kill them. Then they take the fish (not on ice) to the local dentist as barter for a filling for the mom of the clan.

I lived in SE, never have I ever seen people in SE dress the way those freaks dress.
Snowing? Tank tops and tee shirts.
Raining? Leather or fur coat.
