Has anyone been out to the Sooes. I love to fish the mouth and had great success last year. I am making the trip over labor day. Just wondered if anyone has bothered to make the long journey.

Fished the tide last night(Sun.), never saw a fish rise. There was about 15 others there and no one got a thing, not even the guy with the old long stroke buzz bomb method. The tribal fish counter said three were caught Sat. but until the river comes up, the few moving with the tides is all there is. Best to wait for rain.
You can only fish the mouth, it is closed from the bridge to the hatchery.

I was there on Sat and it was pretty slow.
We did have a school of Kings literally swim between our feet on there way back out, which was cool. But on Sun. we went back over to sekiu and limited just out side the harbor.
