Have you ever wondered why some driftboats have an extra oar? I'll let you in on a secret. The third oar is the OAR OF FRIENDSHIP. No....it's not in case you lose an oar, what oaf would do that!! It is used in certain circumstances.

For example, you are pulling lugs in a slot and some one comes down and starts boondogging right on your plug lines! Extend the OAR OF FRIENDSHIP and make contact with their noggins. Don't worry about hurting them or causing brain damage, they obviously have already had a lobotomy or they wouldn't have corked you.

The OAR OF FRIENDSHIP has many other uses, generally in the same circumstances. So remember, that 3rd oar is not really used as a back up, it is used for friendship.

Next week, what those 1 oz and 2 oz lead weights are for. Hint: It's not for plunking! We call them LEAD WEIGHTS OF COURTESY AND KINDNESS....

I assume the LEAD WEIGHTS OF COURTESY AND KINDNESS- are used in conjunction with the Wrist Rocket of Love
