my dad got a 67 GTO from my grandparents as a graduation present, 400 but he put a tri-power on it and built it.... my mom used to wear those swiss or swedish wood "clogs" sometimes, and every time she did, my dad would chew the teeth off the ring gear and blow the rear end... 11 times....
i guess the 427 Vette guys really knew who he was, because they lost to him frequently.....
old school muscle is where its at for sure....

Damn, getting old is not for wimps. That one was a rag top. Not sure if it survived .My Sisters BF had a 69' Z-28 with the 396, man that thing would give you whiplash going through the gears, scratching rubber 3rd to 4th. Love old Chevy's

The 427 'vette guys were laffin' at him when he blew his rear end trying to beat 'em. Pushin near 600 with a 10 bolt, it happens.... It stopped after he put in an Olds 12 bolt... It was a mid 11 second car
