Anybody have any ideas on where to purchase some live crawdads? Thanks.

Doesn`t that little store in Kanaskat sell crawdads? I`ts just over 2 miles south of the state park there. If not, I know some good spots in the river to catch them. Can`t seem to find a darn fish to catch, but I know where the crawdads are. Man, I better rearrange my priorities...

And if not, I think the Red Apple down sells them, I know they sell sand shrimp. By the way, do you drive a gray ford ranger?

Is there a demand for these? What uses are there. I know that a someone put in for a permit last week at the WDFW in Montesano for a hundred pot permit. It was the first time anyone has done this in this erea.

No luck finding any so far though I did pick up a trap and I'll dump it in my favorite bass lake this weekend and see what happens.I don't drive a Ford ranger. Thanks for the input.

The retail fish market at the Salmon Bay fisherman's terminal sells live crayfish from time to time. They are used in a number of recipes. These come from Lake Washington, a commercial guy with a pot ticket brings them in.

I was down at the Pike Place Market the other day and they had live Lake Washington crayfish. Enjoy.

Go to just about any lake at night and shine a flashlight in the water around spots where trees are growing right on the edge. Reach down and pick them up.
