We whacked and stacked the Nooky on Lake Michigan this weekend, and as a result, I have about 20 pounds of Skeins that I need to cure for steelies. Any ideas on what I can do with them? We normally fish small spawn bags for our fish, and any advice would be appreciated. I have tried Bobs cure recipe with the coloring before, and it worked OK. Anything else that you suggest I try? I have enough to make all kinds of varieties. Jesum, those King eggs look like marbles compared to steelies. I thought about drying them down, and using them for ammo in my wrist rocket. Thanks

Hawk I use " Wizards Pro Cure". Pick your fav color and follow the instructions. Work great for me. I cut the eggs in to the size I want put the eggs in a zip loch add the cure. Put it in the frig for three hours drain off the liquid then place them on a towel to dry for about 10 hours. by the way my brother lives in Holland but just fishes wallie. Sorry can't spell. There in the lake do you fish?

Butterfly cut those Nooky scanes and apply light coating of NON-iodized salt. Let sit on a rack so they get air till they get tacky. Cut them into any size ya want and roll them in Borax till well covered. Now their ready to pack, use more Borax to pack them in. Refer or freeze.
