I just caught my biggest fish ever, and I am wondering if anyone would have a good estimate of the fish's weight.

It was a 9'-2 long sturgeon.

I Caught it on the hanford reach while salmon fishing (used 20lb test). Took two hours to beach it. I have a bunch of sore muscles and the worst blister I've ever gotten on my thumb from putting pressure on the spool to slow down a running fish. Got the blister 10 seconds into the fight. Didn't take me too long to realize that my thumb was outmatched.

I sure hope the pictures come out.

It looks like it was around 420 pounds (give or take 70 pounds) according to the chart.

Holy smokes, 420 pounds, thats huge. I'll sure be tough to top whenever a conversation about who has caught the biggest fish comes up.

this year was really good for oversized sturgeon. one day we fished out of camas and got 6 hookups on oversized, but we were using heavy gear. 20 pd test and salmon rod is a kick in the butt. you're going to be sore for days, but it's worth it.
