Big boomers going off on the base starting at 9:00 am this morning. Probably rattle some windows and upset a few pets. Just a "heads up", so you won't think RICH G's Tuesday SHTF prediction has finally begun. Be interesting to know how far away this test firing can be heard.

There's been a noticeable uptick in military training activities. I'm not far from Whidbey NAS and they're flying a lot more. I also heard that the heavy lifters have been busy at Ft. Bragg. A person more connected indicated the uptick is due to south Eastern Europe and the problems in Crimea.

No rockets fired yet. First round keeps getting postponed. Comments are kinda interesting on the JBLM facebook page. We're in the Lacey, SE Oly area, and our windows get regularly rattled during routine artillery tests; I'm expecting the house to shake during these trials. Fortunately, my brittany is used to 12 gauge blasts, fireworks, and my wife yelling at me... She should be fine.

Note: First rocket was fired at 10:10 am. Didn't hear it at our house; others are reporting it wasn't as loud as they expected it would be.

I'm getting a little tired hearing that ear jarring acronym JBLM as well. When I get elected, I'm going to make JBLM Fort Lewis and McChord again.
