Buds,
Where were you and what were you using??
Anyways, I am headed up after work this week and know of some good spots if anyone wants to join. Most of the areas I fish are up in the Wallace flats by Startup when fishing steelies. Silvers have been thick up there, but it is far upriver and they often look like old boots. One favorite spot is Thomas Eddy, on the lower Snoqualmie. This is a great spot this time of year, especially for a quickie after work. For anyone that wants to fish it, find the road on a map that leads to Kenwanda Golf course off HWY 9, I think its Broadway. The parking area has a "Thomas Eddy" sign about 1 mile after the course. Walk to the river is a about 1/2 mile, plenty of shore fishing opportunities in a big deep stretch. Fish will be turning and thrashing all over if my memory serves me correctly. Anyone else want to go there or two the Sky?? or the confluence??? reply here.

Sky-Guy- Thomas Eddy is off of Schools-Short RD in Snohomish. Thomas Eddy is on the Snohomish river so your okay to fish it according to the opener. I'm going Monday, I have a sled so I will be all over the Snohomish, maybe up in the Sky a bit too. Going to try to see how many methods work in fresh water for Silvers.

ThisBudsForU-
Ahhh, you were at Buck Island or just below it eh. Yeah Silvers tend to stack thick below the old tressel there, I think I might have to pull my sled up there and check it out.
Sky-Guy-
Sure, I will let you know how it goes. cya

skyguy-
got the 2 chromers in the main stream under the tressel, theres a school of darker fish just above it and off in the backwater. im sure there waitin for a good rain so they can move on outa there. i might be out there again tomorrow afternoon. i got yelled at twice for poaching. they wouldnt belive me that it opened up. one guy in a drift boat went by and tried to run over my line when i was fightin one of em. i about put a big dent in the side of his nice new boat with a big ol rock.

Buds,
Beware of the fisherman who thinks he knows the rules, but doesnt! ...huh? Well, with it being a new rule change, I am sure there are a few stragglers out there that dont know. I may try that area tomorrow, along with a few others if I can avoid my wifes " hunney-do list" ...The main reason I wouldnt be fishing this time of year. If I see you there, I will buy you a beer. I carry a big gear bag for my tackle, amongst other things.
