........and a lack of funding. What a cocksuccker.
Murray: Seattle will remain a 'sanctuary city,' despite Trump Associated Press , KING 3:12 PM. PST November 09, 2016
PINTEREST SEATTLE - Seattle Mayor Ed Murray says the country has elected a leader who has "demonstrated outright misogyny" and displayed "racism and authoritarian tendencies."
Speaking at a news conference at City Hall Wednesday, Murray said despite the views held by President-elect Donald Trump Seattle would remain a welcoming city for immigrants, minorities and others.
He said Seattle would remain a "sanctuary city" that would shelter illegal immigrants, even if it meant losing federal funding. He said Seattle was committed to building and growing its relationship with the government of Mexico.
He also urged the city's liberal residents to not condemn people who voted for the Republican candidate but to "understand and move forward."
And Murray, who as a state lawmaker led efforts to legalize gay marriage in Washington, said the gay community would not give up the progress made on same-sex marriage

You guys should build a wall around Seattle and make them pay for it.

that mindset is why there are homeless people everywhere and used needles all over the sidewalk.

that mindset is why there are homeless people everywhere and used needles all over the sidewalk. Seattle's weak policies have lead to an absolute sh!thole mess. A tent on every corner, beggars @ 5' on center, and needles laying on the curb like leaves off of trees. Went to a Seahawks game a couple of weeks ago, got our window smashed in broad daylight on 6th ave. They opened my backpack and didn't take anything.

Lots of folks who live outside of Seattle would probably support that wall.

Mury is talking tough but Seattle gets 50%+ of its opportating budget from the federal govt. Gets tens of millions in grants for projects of all kinds and humanitarian relief funds.
If Mury is defiant the city will implode within two years and become a complete crap hole. Most elected officials will get voted out and replaced with people with coman sense.
Trump will do this, one of his people said so two days ago on 97.3, when specifically asked about it, was listening.
Infact Trump is going to use money as leverage to change cities and states accross the country which are too liberal. He will cut their money off for programs and policy which is not acceptable to him or sustainable, or goes agianst the constitution.

This'll be fun to watch and play out. I wonder if Murray will play the fiddle while the city burns?

Before you criticize the leadership in Seattle, see for yourself how they improved the Mercer mess.
I don't think they could plan a good s h i t, even if Todd laid it out for them.
Shameful, at best.
Kind of a bummer, I enjoyed taking family there years ago.

I go there to work... and they pay for my ferry ride. Its fu(king utopia... I get to plug in my laptop in my own private booth and drink a beer while watching whales, sealions, and gill netters... On my walk to the office I can buy a coffee at no fewer than 36 Starbucks stores and can buy 58 real change papers... I will say that not all of the homeless are worthless... Barry, the guy living on the walkway under the viaduct at the ferry terminal does a great job of cleaning up the garbage, needles, and cigarette butts. He also sanitizes the piss and sh!t out of the storm drains by the morning commute (no lie)... he walks with folks without umbrellas holding his umbrella over their head... fyi, he likes cigars and books

Shrunken skulls are a must see for the little ones. Enjoyed taking them to the underground tour, Seattle aquarium, science center, Mariners games, Husky games and Dick's for a burger. Good memories.
That said, I'm glad the grandkids are being raised in Montana.
I hope Seattle can return to its former glory, but I'm not too optimistic at this point.

My experience, working in that area, it sounds like Barry is the exception not the norm. If he can pass a drug test, there is chance, he could qualify for a job doing the same. If he's clean, I'll try to connect him with someone.
Pm me if you like.
