We sure would appreciate a report on the late Sat. water conditions of the Cowlitz & NF Lewis rivers. And if you don't mind, a report on how the fishing was effected also. Thanks much. - RT

Just got home from the Cow. still summer flows hooked two steelhead lots of silvers in the river but not in the mood to bite today.Todays rain won't have much effect on the Cow. need three or four good days of rain to bring it up.

The Toutle is blowing mud fish the lower river for a 15 and 11 pound silver

Just spoke with a friend who was on the Cow today, the Toutle hadn't blown out the lower end of the river and there were fish being caught. I know where I'll be and which holes I'll be working tomorrow!!!

RT They cancelled mon and tue comercial net fishery in lower col. The toutle is muddy up above, but should clear up fast Mon i think . The cow should be loaded by mon thru thur the nets go in 7am thur at longview down, my friend limited his boat thur and fri. Ill be there mon am TUB

Mouth of Toutle is Brown flowing all the way across the cowlitz. The river below is ?? going mon above the mouth ill let you know how the conditions change.

Fished the Cow above the mouth of the Toutle today. My friend and I boated two nice silvers and lost a third. Saw at least fifteen fish caught. The Toutle was blowin' mud. Didn't go below to check it out but what guides that were workin' the river was up where we were.
