Do they belong to a union, or is just a straight out attempt to fix prices? As a real estate agent, we have always been told that it is illegal for us to even discuss the amount of commission we charge, as that could be seen as an attempt to price fix. How can they work together to fix the price they are willing to sell at? It seems to me that is the exact situation the laws were trying to prevent. It would be just as illegal for the processors to agree on what they were going to pay.
