Anybody who has used this launch durning low tide knows that it's getting to the point that you need a 6X6 to get in and out. Last night I asked the city council to provide funds to fix the launch, low and behold they agreed that it was overdue! They have referred the item to the city parks board. Now the red tape starts. This is where you the users of that launch come in. What kind of improvments are you going to want? Start thinking now. As soon as I find out when the normal parks meeting is scheduled, and when they are going to discuss the item I will let you all know.
I belive that there is state grant money up for grabs to help out on this project, so we can probably make some much needed design changes to the launch itself. Like I said you are the key to making this work in your favor get involved and start thinking!
