Like most things if you're good they're fairly easy, depending what unit your hunting. There some Tule Elk in N.California,right? Mendacino area (sp)

I think that elk in, at least, Humboldt and DelNorte are Roosvelts. They have spread Tules all over. There is/was a big herd in the Owens Valley. The elk in the Shasta area and south of Moneterey are Rocky Mountains that were introduced, primarily from Yellowstone.

Yeah, they're back in the native range. As are the Pt Reyes animals. They all came, I believe, from the Tule Elk Reserve (state park) down in Tupman. As the herd grew it got transferred to areas to repopulate.

It's gonna be a long 4 - 8 years. I might just move out into the deep woods with those Elk. Pull a "Mick" just to get away from the media, politics and idiots.
