I fished the Humptulips hard for six hours.Icoverd every thing from the hatchery to to the boat launch down on hwy 109.I only saw A half dozen fish rolling, had one strike, actually saw two fish cme out of A drift boat. The water is low and all but gine clear.Visibility is about 4 ft.The fish are indeed still layed-up like cord wood at the mouth. The local conscensus is 2 to 3 days rain will bring them smokin up stream.Fish and anglers alike.Had A great day and made some new aquaintences(sp ?).Cant beat A day like that.

Hey Dutchman, I fished the Queets Saturday with no luck at all. Fished from Skeater crossing down to the first boat launch. Saw a few roll at the launch. Six or seven trailers there so the fish must still be in the lower section. Fished the Hump for a little while on my way back. Fished the Carbon by the turd factory Sunday. Caught one silver saw several taken. Glad to see it raining today. Later.
