here is the story behind this article, back in 2015 this guy contacted me because he wanted to interview me for a book he was writing about bigfoot, part of which was going to be about the DNA study I was involved in. I agreed to do a skype interview with him and so we did it, it ended up being much longer than he or I thought about 4 to 5 hours I think, in the end he asked me if he could use it all and I remember telling "do whatever you want with it". I forgot all about it after that... Yesterday I googled myself and see this article which I have never seen before, I start reading it and, I have no recollection of it, but it definitely sounds like me speaking "matter of fact", so it kind of freaks me out a bit, because I was not prepared to see that and it was like listening to yourself just talk... With some help from the guy that wrote the article I figured it out, and yes the article is basically a transcription of our conversation, pretty much unedited, off the cuff and spontaneous minus the intro paragraphs at the top of each part which was his words. He said it was a ton of work and I guess I'm flattered that he thought it was good enough to dedicate a long ass article too, wish he would have worked a little harder at getting in touch with me before he made it public, but oh well,,,,

it was transcribed in German and then translated back to English for the article.
