I am planning a trip over to fish one of these rivers. I know where to fish on the Queets but haven't heard any reports. Is it open? And if so, do you have to use single barbless hooks?

The hoh, never floated it before. I need to know a good drift for salmon along with techniques......K-16 is my guess. Where should I put in and take out? I would say I am experienced on the sticks. Any info would be great. Steelydan

Check the Park regs for the Queets ... don't fish it myself, so I don't keep abreast of the current regs.

Fish throughout the Hoh by now ... Morgan's -Oxbow, Oxbow - Nolan Creek, Cottonwood to Barlow's would be a few options for you.
If things blow-out or dry up to the south as they did last week-end, expect to spend more time looking for a place to fish, than actually fishing
