Fished area 10 this afternoon, keepers were deep, shakers were shallow. Don't be afraid to go down to 200'+and fish the mud. Bait schools hard to find, got to have a good fathometer. Big bucktail fly w/flasher worked for me. Fish stomachs were packed with HUGE herring if you were wondering.

Hit Possession on the morning high tide and found lots of bait and shakers. Culled thru the legals to get to the dandies(8lbs plus). 4" green back silverhorde was the lure of choice for these stinkers

Tried West Point for a couple of hours. A take every drop. Previous poster was right, I started using whole herring to conserve my dozen, and they hit the big ones, and then the leftover plugs. They were deep (>200') Released 1 about 8#, the rest 20-21.

Chaps It was plugs with a green back/black scale pattern and dont be afraid to drag the bottom (i.e. 90-95ft of cable in 90ft of water). I very seldom go deeper than 100ft

Fished Possession this morning, lots of bait, lots of small/medium size chinook. Fished the "tin shed" with a couple of friends and tried to selectively catch our three fish. Ended up with two seven pounders and one about five pounds. I think you need to fish deeeeeep to get away from the shakers. Get in 150 foot water with bait showing and put out enough wire to tap the bottom. 5" Tomic plugs discourage the shakers and make for better c/r.

Chaser, thanks for the info . . . gonna try Manchester tomorrow, will post results. The bigger fish have been deep (at least in area 10 but we'll see if that has changed) Doesn't it seem a little strange that there is a 1 fish limit on these guys? There are gazillions of 'em and they were put out there by dfw for one purpose-recreational fishing. Whats the deal?
