i like Gruden... but that has to be one of the stupidest trades in the history of the NFL...
unless they think the Bears are going 0-16, and see a player that is coming into the league next year that will be as good or better than Mack...(doubtful)

true... but Mack was the best player on that entire team... it would be like the Hawks trading Wilson... or GB dumping Rodgers... or the Rams trading Gurley or Donald...
you do have a point tho, they can also use those 2 picks to steal someone from another team if they need to....

yeah it should be, hes about as good as Donald...
thats the 1 thing that the Bears have going for them on the deal, Trubisky has 3-4 years of play before he gets his second contract, so they can pay Mack now and not have to worry about it till later... if Trubisky is even around in 4 years....
im no so sure about us and Thomas, ive heard that he will lose ALOT of money each game if he doesnt play, and if he doesnt report by week 8, the contract is void for this year, and it rolls over to next year.....

He has no trade value because everyone knows he'll never play in a Hawks uni again. Maybe a 4th rounder. The Hawks have already paid that little sniveling cry baby 64 million since we drafted him. That stunt that he played after the Dallas game....asking their coach to come and get me, I lost all respect of him. I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. I thought he would be the last player on the Hawks that would pull that bush league crap. Just like Tiger....had me fooled.

they upped it to a second, but Seattle wants more... basically i dont think they will trade him now, for anything less than a 1st... who knows tho these days...

He doesn't sound like a very happy camper though. "I worked my whole life for this..... I’ve never let me teammates, city or fans down as long as I’ve lived and don’t plan on starting this weekend. With that being said, the disrespect has been well noted and will not be forgotten. Father Time may have an undefeated record but best believe I plan on taking him into triple overtime when it comes to my career."
