If you've got an idea of what works, then you've got 10% of the game licked ... the tougher part, 90% of it, is putting whatever you have to offer in front of a fish. Frankly, I think way too many people worry about what they're using rather than picking the right spots and fishing them effectively ... that's the REAL secret!

I agree with Bob, use what you have and try to use it effectively. Steelies will bite out of agression so if you can dangle something in their face it just may p#$% them off enough to strike.
Being up north of 49 I can't offer you specific advice for your river, but at this time of year can you really go wrong with an egg pattern in say, pink or red?
