What's the word? Is it worth playing hooky tomorrow?

I went up to Reiter last night just before dark with my girlfriend and looked at the river. The river is still a little low but has great color! I saw two guys walk out with a steelie a piece, probably in the low teens! I don't know after last nights rains it might be out but I don't think so!! Hell I would play hooky too if I had anymore vacation or sick days. I guess I already used too many to fish already. I will have to wait till next year before that happens again, shoot! Good luck!

Saw 2 caught and 2 lost on Friday at Crab bar. Saw 4 caught at same on Saturday. The plunkers seemed to do alright but saw no boats take fish.

Went out today, the Sky is browner than the Snoqualmie, but will probably look good by tomorrow judging by the way the river levels are dropping at Carnation and Sultan.

Good luck,

Doubletake.

PS - Saw nothing caught today

I was thinking of going to the Big Eddy area but saw that nobody fishing from the Raging on downsteam and decided to fish around Fall City,no steelhead but released 3 whitefish on corky and yarn. Saturday the Wildlife agent was there checking for license, punch cards and sliding your barbless hooks through his sleeves to see if your pinched down barbs stick. He was harassing someone by trying to say they we're snagging Chum salmon.

Thanks for the input, guys. Couldn't make it out today, but hopefully soon...

Jigman, you've got quite a "nose" for steelhead! Nice job.
