+ Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, Lawrence Phillips to name a few others. Terrell Davis's form was close to a high runner, but I wouldn't call him a classic HR.

They don't make RB's like those anymore in favor of spark plug scat backs that can run horizontally and low to the ground (hide and seek ball). About the only high runner still around that I can think of is maybe Todd Gurley?

Anyway, down hill running with high knees is terrifying for all involved. I love seeing a RB simply truck a poor undersized DB.
