No chit. I got married and we bought our first house when I was 25. It was on Lake Chelan and with taxes and insurance our mortgage payment was $725. If it was easy I'd have kept it and sold it for 10x what we did. Good times though.

Generation X did far better than the boomers, who were coked up yuppies, and the offspring of GenX will be even better. I'm told I'm "a strict" dad and I take that as a compliment. My oldest is a Marine, my middle son is an honor roll starting QB and my daughter is honor roll and a softball genius. Having 2 parents physically and emotionally present is fundamental to childhood development. Women are too soft.
