My mopar sucks! Does your mopar stink it up?

I'm a proud owner of a 98 ram quad 5.9L. My three year experience has lead me to the following conclusion mad

DODGE = bad decision maker!

What's going to cure it...being a Chev man I need cracked in the a** with a large bow tie paddle...
I heard those duramax diesels will cure what's ailin ya! smile

FJ...out.

My friend has had 2 Dakotas since 99' and the factory has taken them both back cause there LEMONS!, the trucks had the same problems ( trans, brakes, electrical ), the first one had the 318 engine the second had the new V-8 I think it was the 4.8 liter. He has since went to a fullsize Ram, I guess some people never learn!

Can you think of a four letter word that begins with "F"?
Ford, man.
Chevs might be more cushy ( and we've had them for the last 14 years ) but a Ford feels like a truck. It drives like a truck. And my diesel SMELLS like a truck.
Hallelujah, Jesus, can you see the light?

Stlhdr1, I'm caught between a sled, a week long
Situk trip in May and a hard place! My banker is trying to catch a breath. I'll keep one eye on it.

Diana, does that Ford come with a Tim Taylor grunt horn?

No Tim Taylor grunt horn.
But I could easily put a pink flamingo on for a hood ornament.

And no, Jesus, that pink rash you have is incurable. Have Goose take a look at it. Don't be shy. laugh laugh laugh

Love my Powerstroke, and I am sure my neighbor loves it too. Especially at 2am in the morning....leaving on a road trip! Plenty of power and not too bad on the Fuel card.

I can't believe you've held onto this lemonade supplier for this long. I think you need another big rig, but make sure it has lots of leg room (more comfy for me to nap) and go for the one with the tv and dvd player, and maybe the new x-box too...

If you need someone to smooth things over with your banker, let me know...maybe we can get the camper to go on the back too.

FJ, you need to take a look at the FORD Heavy duty series with the crew cab, either the V-10 or the "rattler". Sweet truck. I have a SGM buddy who has the Chevy with the duramax and he says it is the sh$t.

When it comes to tough unbreakable trucks, Ford is the ticket. I have never owned a ford that couldn't get me too a fishing hole, but more importantly it will get you back. I am a new guy to this site but thought you might appriciate a little friendly advice.

You never see a dodge further then a stones throw away from a paved road.

Sorry to hear about your Dodge. I have a '97 Ram 1500 and love it. I have owned several trucks, and this is probably my favorite. No problems, and maybe I'm just lucky. Just the usual maintenance so far. The only thing I would change in the future is probably to get a 3/4 or 1 ton for more towing capacity.
