MartyMoose Returning Adult Registered: 06/14/11 Posts: 341 Loc: Lake Stevens, Wa	Replacement workers may be brought in to train in the event the IAM decides to strike against Intalco. It seems to me that just a couple of years ago that plant was almost shut down as a result of the economy. Is this really the time to strike? In a tight economy with people still jobless, is it really wise to strike when the average worker covered under the contract would be paid $72,000 a year? I bet there will be plenty of people out there willing to take 'scab' jobs in order to put some beans on the table. Intalco to train replacement workers _________________________ A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to and including my life."
