The cold, deep ocean waters surrounding Alaska's Kenai Peninsula offer anglers some of the world's finest saltwater fishing.

You can choose choose to fish the eastern side of the Peninsula for halibut & salmon out of the Deep Creek / Ninilchik / Anchor Point area. Or perhaps go after a variety of species on the western side out of Seward, these trips are an excellent choice to round out or start your Alaska fishing vacation.

These Alaska fishing trips are available on a single-trip basis, or as part of an Alaskan fishing package. Visit our rates page for single trip pricing or Alaska fishing packages page for multi-day trips with or without river fishing.

Alaska halibut fishing charters and guide service.

Deep Creek / Ninilchik Halibut Fishing Charters

The fisheries offer anglers two distinctly different trips. Follow the links located on the left sidebar (or menu) of the page for more information about each fishery.

Deep Creek trips are generally halibut-only with the exception of salmon / halibut combinations during the early (kings) and late (silvers) portions of the summer. Seward trips are usually silver salmon / lingcod or bottomfish combinations, depending upon the time of year.

The limit for anglers in any of the area's halibut fisheries is two halibut daily. Most sport-caught halibut range from 20-40 pounds, although 100+ pound fish are possible in catches in either fishery, and every so often, anglers run across one of the truly mammoth halibut of 300+ pounds.
Unless requested otherwise, we run six-passenger vessels that range in length from 28 to 32 feet, this provides an excellent captain / deckhand-to-client ratio to make the trip more personable.

Groups of less than six do have the option of 'buying the boat' for a fully private charter as well, please contact us for more details.

The captains are all USCG licensed, and as typical of our guides, all have years of experience in their respective fishery areas ... in this case, our first two boats' captains average over 20 years on these waters.
