What Salmo G said.

I wish you the best kid. We are a product of our experiences and you have very little experience at such a young age. keep on loving life, but never feel that it's just you that's running the show. You will eventually realize that there are many things in your life that you are powerless over. Always show your gratitude, but never in a cocky, bragging sort of way, because that doesn't work. For me, I am blessed and humbled that in spite of the mistakes I made in my youth, a guardian angel was there to light my path, even though at times things got dark and confusing. That's my experience and I'm not asking you to buy it, I am only sharing from the heart, and hope that it can make a positive difference in your life. \:\) That's the reality (confusing) in the world today, with it's critical mass of corrupt politics, corporate crime, disease, free range hate and the so called war on terror. With the lines being increasingly blurred between what's right and wrong, good or bad, we fined ourselves pulling straws, and trying to avoid the short one on a more frequent basis. Man, It's a jungle out there! Especially for the the youth and the unexperienced.

Again, best of luck to ya, and may I suggest that you watch and follow the tail lights of those that are in front of you, because they have obviously been there, done that, and survived.

I'm a lot like Jerry, in that as long as I realize I don't really know S.H.I.T, it keeps me humble, teachable and capable of learning. Just hope that this thread is useful, in that I find most are sincere and are really trying to contribute to a good kid. I also have a son about your age and I share the same with him. BTW, we fisherman tend to be that way most of the time, in our willingness to share, including the proper techniques that work best, or our bait of choose, gear reviews and suggestions, tide table and rabbit foot charts, etc. We willingly share information that may be helpful (excluding the rock we stand on, or our personal bank account info ), for fishing a hole, or when angling lifes daily offerings for keepers. It took a village of fishermen and women to raise and teach me in my youth, in addition to the abundance that my wonderful parents provided. That was truly a blessing. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Now leave the catching of sunglasses with your face to someone else. You have already out grown that kidstuff in this thread alone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-prfAENSh2k
