I read up a bit on the "firing scandal". Apparently what it stems from is that the governor's ex-brother-in-law made threats to kill her dad, and had the means to do so. If a trooper made threats to kill Gregoire's dad (not sure if he is alive still, as she's pretty old ) and she pushed for said trooper's firing, and a public official balked at that, what would folks say about that public official? A trooper investigation showed that the ex-brother-in-law did indeed make those threats.

The public official that was fired also had some additional personal issues.

If that is the worst that they can come up with, or her husband's 20+ year old DUI, or her pregnant daughter.....????
