Sounds like resigning is an admission of guilt rather than standing your ground. Can't blame Trump for firing someone who resigned. He's a dickwad anyway. Writes a letter recommending the firing of Comey and then turns around and sicks a special council on trump for following the recommendation. I say good riddance - he's a weasel. What person doesn't expect to get fired anyway for insubordination and talking about taking down the boss - that wouldn't fly at my work - even if joking.
